We are seeking Individual Support Assistants (ISAs) to join the Student Services Department. The ISA position available is to support individual students in the Primary School during the school week from Sunday to Thursday.
The British International School, Riyadh caters for students aged 3-18. 50% of students are British but over 50 nationalities are represented within the student body. The school is accredited by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The recent British School overseas inspection described the BISR curriculum as “outstanding” and states that “students demonstrate outstanding attitudes, behaviour and personal development. They take a pleasure in their own success and that of others”. In a recent confidential survey staff overwhelmingly stated that they enjoy working at the school. We now seek to add to our team.
We are seeking Individual Support Assistants (ISAs) to join the Student Services Department. The ISA position available is to support individual students in the Primary School during the school week from Sunday to Thursday.
The ideal candidate will:
be reliable, self-motivated, well organised and display initiative;
be creative and resilient;
have good interpersonal skills with both adults and students.
The successful candidate will:
have previous learning support experience;
provide learning support for a specific student in mainstream classes, small groups and on a 1:1 basis;
work cooperatively with the class teacher and the learning support teacher;
maintain student confidentiality;
have a relevant qualification as a Learning Support Assistant or Individual Support Assistant (desirable but not essential) or experience supporting children in schools;
have KSA residency status.
You will be part of the BISR Student Services Department who are able to provide ongoing training and support as required.

Teachers who work at BISR should have
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher status;
Certificate of Education, First degree or equivalent;
Training or qualification relevant to the post.
