Applications are invited from suitable candidates domiciled in Punjab for the following posts in Bureau of Statistics, Punjab on contract Basis against Regular posts against 3% disabled quota. The details of posts to be filled are given below.
1: Stenographer (BS-14)
• Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• A speed of 80 W.P.M in shorthand in English and 35 W.P.M in Typewriting
2: Statistical Assistant (BS-11)
• Graduate(B.A , B.Sc.) from a recognized university with Statistics and Economics as Elective Subjects
• Must qualify a Statistical Aptitude test to be conducted by the Bureau of Statistics.
3: Statistical Computer-cum-Typist (BS-05)
• Matriculation or Equivalent qualification from a recognized board
• Must Qualify Arithmetic Aptitude & Statistical Typing test
Note:
1. Candidates must be domiciled in the Punjab. However local candidates will be given preference for recruitment.
2. Age relaxation of 5 years will be applicable for male candidates and 8 years for female candidates as per Govt. policy
3. Employee of Government department must route their application through proper channel
4. Incomplete application and received after the closing date will not be considered.
